I have nothing to post today.

I’m waiting for a few things to kick in, arrive or otherwise come through which I plan to chat about, but which have not yet materialized – Meanwhile, I’m also after feedback on yesterday’s post, if anyone cares to give their views on the back cover text, known as the “teaser page” of a book.

I am revamping the text on the backs of books 1 and 2, and presenting for the first time the text on the back of book 3. Due to the limitations of WordPress, the font, font size and line spacing is not accurate, but the words are.

(See the post below this one which links through to the back text for all three books, if you care to read them and comment.)

Today, I shall be largely offline to get on with writing book 3.

I expect to be offline quite a lot in the coming months as I catch up with where I should be in the manuscript. So, if you don’t hear from me with the usual regularity, don’t worry, I will still be around, I will still post on a daily basis, and I will still pop around to your blog when I can.

Cheers, all!

I find that having nothing to post pretty much everyday is liberating, it allows me to post whatever nonsense comes into my head (which is one of many reasons why I will never be an author).

Funny, that’s why I became an author. 😛

On a serious note, actually you are right. Writing a post every day brings in a certain amount of discipline, and it’s good practice, but it also teaches a person how to relax into it and not worry so much if a post is actually saying something important, or is a fun-post or even a non-post (as a few of mine have been). Like you, I often don’t know what I’m going to post when I come to my computer, and that no longer freaks me out.

      Cheers! 🙂
