The Khekarian Threat – FREE on Kindle – Day Three.

Charlie is the only one Aleisha can turn to, the elderly goods supervisor who befriended her on her arrival to the pioneering world, but he soon finds the limits of the law also – Charlie isn’t going to give up easily, however, and calls in the best of the teams he knows, bringing in Raoul and his crew to see what they can do – Raoul, meanwhile, wants nothing to do with the situation because generally what results is a team-war – (By the way, I’ll add all these storyline snippets together into one on the last day of this giveaway to clarify what the book is about for any who have missed a day or so).

The Khekarian Threat is a sci-fi adventure in a colonizing world, with a touch of occult, erotica, sex, violence, humor and coarse language, going out free on Kindle up until the last minute of Jan 1st 2014. Grab it while you can.

The Khekarian Threat – FREE on Kindle – Day Two.

Limited in their jurisdiction, the local police can’t help Aleisha escape from the Khekarians who claim to own her, but she can’t just run away, either – she has a teleporter locked onto her wrist and that means she can be brought back to the team should she try it – on top of that, Sevi, Sturn’s elite soldier bodyguard is keeping a close eye on her, and it’s frightening what that woman can do – Soon they will leave the Terran Sector and take her with them, back to the heart of a savage alien Empire.

The Khekarian Threat is a sci-fi adventure in a colonizing world, with a touch of occult, erotica, sex, violence, humor and coarse language. It’s also a big book, the paperback has 590 pages of story.

The Khekarian Threat is going out free on Kindle up until the last minute of Jan 1st 2014. Grab it while you can.

The Khekarian Threat – FREE on Kindle – limited time.

It’s a sci-fi adventure in a colonizing world, with a touch of occult, erotica, sex, violence, humor and coarse language – Stephen doesn’t have time for psychics, he doesn’t believe in them, he only brought Aleisha into his team so he could sell her to the two Khekarians all but ruling it – at 17 years old, Aleisha doesn’t have the training to see it coming, and she’s not that kind of seer, anyway – Sturn, meanwhile, is an exiled Khekarian Prince determined to return to power using whatever means necessary, be it with the use of the girl’s raw talent or with the unethical capture of alien-native from Zumaridi to barter his way back in – either way, the newly settled planet has what he wants – and there are no laws to stop him.

Near on 600 pages, it’s a book you can get your teeth into. It’s going out free on Kindle up until the last minute of Jan 1st 2014. Grab it while you can. The paperback costs USD $19.95, Kindle normally USD $4.95 (Note: there’s a price-rise on the horizon, this book has been way underpriced. More on that in the new year).

Roight! Let’s try this again shall we? Freebie now starts on the 28th

Grrrr! There are automated systems out there that run like… er… clockwork, but don’t let you know or see what’s actually happening.

I mistimed my freebie promotion, picking the very moment my 90 day Kindle Library membership expired. This was set to auto-reissue me with new membership, but until the deed was done it closed off my calendar for 4 of the 5 days wanted – you and I both had to wait it out – up it came, but then chopped off the first half of the calendar (although, looking at the stats, at least one person managed a freebie before the auto-correction programming auto-corrected itself) – HUGE APOLOGIES for stuffing you guys around, but it’s laid out now, scheduled to begin instead on the 28th and will run through to the last minute of the 1st Jan 2014.

The time zone is Standard Pacific Time (USA).

The links are as set out below.

A Christmas Present from me to you – The Khekarian Threat free on Kindle (limited time).

Hi Everyone – I hope you all had an excellent Christmas Day with more good stuff to come – If you like science fiction and haven’t yet read The Khekarian Threat, here’s an extra present for you, the book is going out free on Kindle on the 27th December 2013 (USA standard pacific time – midnight to midnight) – currently it’s for one day, but I am hoping to extend that to midnight of the 31st Dec.

All relevant links for the 27th are below.

UPDATE: Please make sure the pay price is set to zero. The giveaway extension is in – all the way to the 1st Jan – yet the 27th is there, also (my 5 day limit has been reset – that means the 27th shouldn’t be included as they have stripped it out. Nevertheless, the Khekarian Threat is currently listed as free).

I’m not afraid to say MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I’m sure I’m not the only one to see people afraid to use the word “Christmas” in fear they might offend someone – There are many religions in the world and many holidays and religious holidays, and here and now it is Christmas time in many countries, and that deserves respect and acknowledgement – Yet in today’s world, I see people tiptoeing in pointless shame and nonsensical politically induced guilt as though being Christian in a Christian country is a bad thing, all to appease the activists in our midst (yes, those same people who despise humanity in all it’s forms and see us as a blight upon the Earth and who, interestingly enough, do not believe in God anyway – That’s right, Political Correctness has become a tool of Socialism and God is on the hit-list).

There is no other religion anywhere in the world where its followers have been forced into a position where many are afraid to speak of their own faith to their own fellow-believers in their own-religion countries. Respecting other religions is a wonderful thing, but do not denigrate your own to “prove” your respect for others, for there is no respect at all if you do not include your own in the equation.

Christmas Eve and a Quiet Day for me, I think.

Today here in Australia, it’s Christmas Eve – I slept in this morning having stayed up until midnight last night playing computer games with Greg (its wonderful not having to watch the clock), and today is going to be more of a slow-moving, get-ready-for-tomorrow sort of day – Being relatively quiet people, we’ve planned a day at home, but everything is pretty well ready, all stocks are in and in good order.

We are not having the traditional sort of meal, but there will be roast meat, and that means cold leftovers later (love leftovers – something to grab, nothing to prepare), some salad, and we’ll go pretty lightly on everything else.

Sadly for me, our idea of a “treat” this year backfired, so Greg inherits all the biscuits (cookies), bread and most of the chocolate. I got a bad reaction when we dived into some decadence the weekend prior to his holidays, then again two days later, thus identifying the culprit as starch, I don’t dare indulge again (one sandwich costs me an entire day). It simply is not worth it. Greg will take it easy, though, because he can get bad reactions, too, but so far he is holding his own.

Blogsville visits over the holidays – light, but I have not forgotten you.

Part of my daily schedule in Blogsville is catching up with my favorite sites and spending a little time there – I also do this between writing scenes or while I’m nutting over some ideas or waiting for the kettle to boil or eating lunch, it’s like having friends pop in and we can engage in some light chatter before getting back to work – Over the holiday period, however, my schedule will be disrupted and much of my visiting will be limited.

Greg has his holidays for the next three weeks and, while I intend to keep up as I may, I also recognize that it will throw my schedule out. Primarily, we will be sitting up much later. As I’m an early bird, I will still get up early, but not as early (I’m usually up at 4:30, sometimes as late as 5:00. During the holidays, with not turning in until midnight, I’m likely to sleep in until 6:00 or even 7:00 – yes, I know I’m going to get teased for that one).  😀
